





Cowboy Action Camp
presented by Blackhawk Area Council Shooting Sports Committee
Saddle up for an action-pack Western-themed campout. Scouts will compete in various BSA Nationally-approved Cowboy Action themed activities including lariat roping, Muzzleloader firing, long bow archery, Rifle/Shotgun Range, Lever-Action Rifle and Pistol, Tomahawk Throws, and a chili cookoff. Friday night features an open shoot for adult leaders. Registration includes a patch, Saturday morning Pancake Breakfast, main ingredients for Saturday's Dinner/Chili Cookoff (meat, onions, kidney beans), ammo for the shooting sports activities, and overnight indoor lodging (limited space). Tent camping is an option. *Per Guide to Safe Scouting, only youth ages 14 years old and above; or 13 years old AND completed 8th grade are allowed to use the Lever-Action Rifle and Pistol. All other activities are open to all ages Scouts BSA and Crew.

Cost: $47 per Adult/Youth early-rate fee; fee increases to $57 per participant on July 25. Registration ends August 7.
