Who can attend? - Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venture Crews (youth and adults) their families and friends!
Cost? - $29 for event registration or $39 for event plus camping / per person, HOWEVER! If you register and pay by Monday March 31st each person will receive a $10 discount! (This would then be $19 for event registration or $29 for event plus camping / per person) *Multiple camping locations are available.
Traditional Events for the Grant Pilgrimage
- Historic Trail Hike
- History Hunt (with the Galena Generals)
- Grant’s Home and Washburn House
- Galena Historical Museum
- Blacksmith shop
- Parade down Main Street Galena
- Bucket Brigade
- Cub Activities put on by the O.A.
Additional Activities to the Pilgrimage
- General Grant Costume contest. Scouts will do their Best General Grant impersonation, knowledge about General Grant is encouraged. Winners will receive a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Judging will take place at the Market house at 11:00am Saturday April 26th.

- Registration at the Pilgrimage will be at the Galena Bible Arts and Recreation Center(ARC) for short 11084 US Hwy 20 W Galena Il 61036
- Trading Post will be at Turner Hall, 115 Bench St., Galena, IL 61036
- Cub Activities will be at Grant Park
