Cowboy Action Camp

presented by Blackhawk Area Council Shooting Sports Committee

Saddle up for an action-pack Western-themed campout. Scouts will compete in various BSA Nationally-approved Cowboy Action themed activities including lariat roping, Muzzleloader firing, long bow archery, Cowboy Action shooting sports, and a chili cookoff. Friday night features an open shoot for adult leaders. Registration includes a patch, main ingredients for Saturday's Dinner/Chili Cookoff (meat, onions, kidney beans), ammo for the shooting sports activities, and overnight indoor lodging.

Who: Open to Adults and Youth members in Scouts BSA and Venturing

When: March 22-24, 2024

Where: Camp Lowden (4418 S. Scout Road, Oregon, IL)

Cost: $42 per Adult/Youth early-rate fee; fee increases to $47 per participant on March 8. Registration ends March 13.
