DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n Blackhawk Area Council Pinewood Derby \n  \n A signature event for Cub Scout boys and girls in grades Kindergarten - Fifth Grade. Cub Scout Pinewood Derby features race winners and runners-up, and best designs from the Pack level. Large trophies are awarded to each category winner per grade-level. \n  \n  \n Arrow of Light Extension: Youth that cross-over to a Troop prior to their Pack event may return and participate in the unit’s race, and qualify to advance to the council race. \n  \n  \n You may register your unit for the council race PRIOR to holding your Pack's race. Please use place holder names i.e. Tiger Winner, Tiger Runner-Up and Tiger Design Winner. \n  \n  \n Open Class: Please read the rule book. This is open to any Scout, Scouter, adult, or sibling that may be interested in racing their car, if they did not qualify for the big race.  \n  \n  \n Who: Winners, Runner Ups and Best Design Winners from each Den \n  \n  \n When: April 11-12, 2026 Times will be distributed on March 31, 2026 \n  \n  \n Lion, Tiger and Wolf racers will race on Saturday, April 11, 2026 \n  \n  \n Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light racers will race on Sunday, April 12, 2026 \n  \n  \n NEW THIS YEAR: OPEN CLASS- Saturday, April 11, 2026 around 3pm \n  \n  \n Where:  Harlem Middle School  (735 Windsor Rd.
