DESCRIPTION:Welcome to "A Taste of Okpik"! \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Okpik is a popular, informative, and FUN winter camping training program that BAC has offered annually for the last 10 years.  However, given that our regular course has been cancelled this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have created a unique alternate opportunity for you...  "A Taste of Okpik"! \n  \n  \n This mini program will teach you a few highlights from our full course instruction, and be open for questions about winter camping. \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Winter camping is a natural for social distancing... there are no crowds, it's outside, and your face is already covered to stay warm!  \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n This program is open to all registered scouts (age 14 or older) and scouters, and the cost is just $5 to cover facility fees, so sign up now and come find out what Okpik is all about!  Space is limited, so please reserve your spot today. \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Covid-19 safety policies will be followed at each session.  Masks will be required and group sizes will be limited.  The program will be taught outdoors (weather permitting), so please dress appropriately (in layers) to be comfortable outside for up to 2 hours.  Please bring a water bottle, notetaking supplies, and a camp chair... and be ready to have some fun!
