Then Cub Scout Fun Day is the event for you!

Join us for a fun-filled day with round-robin style activities that showcase all of the fun that boys and girls can have in Cub Scouts.

Location:  The Hollows Conservation Area

Follow the signs to the Campground Area!

Each station is led by older Scouts from Troops, Crews, and Posts around McHenry County.

Activities are designed for Youth and Parents/Guardians to work together.  Register as an individual or a Pack!  Cost is $10 per scout-aged youth.  Prospective Scouts welcome.  Siblings 4 and under are free.

Most activities align to partial requirements for the new Cub Scout program, from Lions (Kindergarten) through to Arrows of Light (5th Grade).

• Learn how to make a campfire!
• Practice your sling shot skills!
• Build and race a Lego car!
• Launch a rocket with Human Power!
• Build a tower and play Godzilla!
• Take an archeology hike!
• And many more fun activities...

Special treat, the Kona Ice truck will be onsite from 10am to Noon for you to purchase a yummy frozen treat! 

For Arrow of Light Scouts (5th Graders), this event fulfills the requirement to visit Troops in your area!
