Online Merit badge Class! 

Who: All scouts BSA youth!

When: there are 2 classes and each scout must attend both to complete the badge. Saturday October 3rd & Saturday October 31st.

Time: 1 pm - 3 pm

*Special note: You are signing up fro the same time slot on both class days. For example if you sign up for the AM session on 10/3 you will automatically be registered for the AM session on 10/31. 

Each session will consist of a two hour interactive zoom class. Each scout will receive a link for a short Morse code video and a copy of a binary Morse code tree to  practice before class.
You will receive instructions in the first class on making semaphore  flags and sending  messages so that between the two classes you can make a video. You will also receive directions on trail markers so that you may complete a 1 mile hike before the next class. We will be working on secret codes, ASL , nautical flags and Most importantly how to signal and get help when lost,And much more  too!If you complete the homework between classes you can complete the entire merit badge.
All parents are welcome to join the class. When scouts email me please copy another adult. Please wear scout T-shirt or uniform. Your screen must not be blocked and you must have video capability. This is an interactive class.
