Family Camp Fall Fest
Fun and relaxing camp with your family or unit
Get ready for a weekend of crisp autumn air, colorful leaves, and unforgettable family memories at Fall Fest Family Camp at Camp Lowden! This laid-back camping experience is designed for seasoned campers or families brand new to the adventure. It's all about fun at your own pace. With open programming, you can jump into activities when you want or simply relax and soak in the fall atmosphere. It’s also a fantastic way to connect with other Cub Scout families, learn helpful camping techniques, and try your hand at campfire cooking. Families bring their own gear and cook their own campsite meals. A Saturday lunch option is available for purchase.
Activities include BB Guns and Archery, Basic Scout Skills, Crafts, and songs/skits around a campfire. Some themed highlights include Wagon Rides, popcorn popping, leaf-inspired adventures, and a Communal Meal opportunity (we're working out the exciting details!). Families may choose to camp overnight all weekend, come in Saturday and camp overnight Sunday, or just come in for Saturday.
Any adults or Scouts BSA level youth who would like to help as volunteer staff during the Saturday program are encouraged to register as Volunteer Staff. Lodging and meals are included.
