Fall Family Camp 2024
QUEST FOR THE CRYSTAL AKELA
Everyone is invited to come out for fun and adventure with the whole family! Join in the challenge of the Quest for the Crystal Akela, or just spend some quality time together in the beauty of camp. Walk through the woods on a story hike, solve challenge puzzles, scramble on the bouldering wall, try your hand at BBs or Archery, create some amazing crafts, flex your knot tying muscles, enjoy a spirited campfire program, or compete in the camp wide after dinner cooking competition to win glory.
Family Camp offers a laid back, fun in the outdoors weekend to enjoy time with your family with campsite meals and exciting programs throughout camp. Register as a family or as a Scouting unit. Families are responsible for their own gear and food (Saturday lunch option is available for purchase).
Who: Open to youth and adults in ALL Scouting programs, along with their families and siblings
When: Friday Evening through Sunday Morning, October 4-6, 2024
Where: Camp Lowden 4418 S. Scout Road, Oregon, IL 61061
What: Camping...shooting sports...fitness challenge...scout skills...climbing...outdoor skills...cooking...fire-bowl program...games...and more!
Optional Saturday lunch purchase during registration.
Cost: $27 per youth (increases to $35 on September 20); $17 per adult (increases to $25 on September 20); $2 per youth age 3 years & under; registration ends September 27
