Sycamore District Roundtable
Great ideas. Great people. Great Scouting. And maybe a ButterBurger afterward!
Calling all Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring leaders! Whether you're a seasoned Scouter with a uniform full of patches or a brand-new leader still figuring out which way the neckerchief goes, Sycamore District Roundtable is the place for YOU!
What Is Roundtable, Anyway?
Think of Roundtable as your monthly Scouting recharge station!
Roundtable is a fun, interactive gathering where Scouting volunteers come together to share ideas, discover new resources, learn new skills, solve challenges, and connect with fellow leaders who understand the adventure (and occasional chaos!) of delivering an awesome Scouting program.
It's part training, part brainstorming, part networking, and ALL about making Scouting better for our youth!
Whether you're looking for fresh meeting ideas, helpful tips, upcoming Scouting opportunities, or simply want to swap stories with people who speak fluent Scouting, you'll find it at Roundtable.
And the best part? Everyone has something to contribute!
A Different Adventure Every Month!
No two Roundtables are quite alike!
Each month features a different theme, bringing fresh topics, hands-on activities, useful resources, and opportunities to learn something new.
Want to know what's coming up next? Check out the Sycamore District Facebook page for the latest Roundtable themes, announcements, and information!
When & Where Do We Meet?
WHEN: The SECOND THURSDAY of every month (except July — we're taking a summer break!)
TIME: 7:00–9:00 PM
WHERE: Grace Lutheran Church
1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road
Woodstock, IL
Parking & Entrance: Park on the SOUTH side of the building and enter through the doors on the FAR RIGHT.
The Fun Doesn't Stop at 9:00!
Because great Scouting conversations deserve great food!
After Roundtable, keep the fun going with our unofficial "After-Roundtable Roundtable" at the Woodstock Culver's!
WHEN: 9:00 PM until they shoo us out the door!
Your Next Great Scouting Idea Starts Here!
You don't need to be a unit's top leader. You don't need years of experience. You don't even need to have all the answers.
Just bring your enthusiasm, your questions, your ideas, and your Scouting spirit!
From Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA, Venturing to Exploring, ALL adult leaders and volunteers are welcome.
Mark your calendar for the SECOND THURSDAY, invite a fellow Scouter, and come see what you've been missing!
