Blackhawk Area Council Fall Camp

A Fall Camp weekend in the past, present, and future

Join us for a historic celebration at the Blackhawk Area Council Fall Camp, celebrating the 250th anniversary of America. This weekend promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, camaraderie, and memories that will last a lifetime. Activities include: living history, Range and Target Activities, and more. Overnight camping and Saturday-only options are offered for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA and Venturing units. Patches are not guaranteed for registrations after September 23.

Who: Open to youth and adults in Scouts BSA/Venturing/Cub Scouts

When: October 16-18, 2026; weekend camping and Saturday-only options available

Where: Camp Lowden (4418 S. Scout Road; Oregon, IL)

Cost: $15 per Saturday-only Youth/Adult early-rate fee (fee increases to $25 on September 14); $25 per Overnight Youth/Adult early-rate fee (fee increases to $35 on September 14); $35 for staff staying overnight; $20 for Staff working Saturday only. Registration ends October 7th (Patches are not guaranteed for registrations after September 23)

Early Discount

Before 9/14/2026 a discount of $10.00 will apply to all Overnight Adult Registrants.

Cancellation Policy

All refund requests must be submitted to the professional staff advisor, in writing (i.e., email request) prior to the event as the policy states below. You can send your request to: bac.info@scouting.org 30 days or more prior to an event 100% refund 29-15 days prior to event 70% refund 14 days-8 days prior to the event 30% refund 7 days or less prior to event 0% refund Refund does not include service fees incurred by credit cards. Refund requests for extenuating circumstances may be considered for 7 days or less and will be at a 30% refund if approved.
