Weekend Adventure Experiences

A Lowden Adventures Camp Program 

Lowden Adventure Experiences are packed with action, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. The weekend features camp-wide open programming, including camping, camp fire program, activities like target and range sports, along with an optional overnight Mountain Bike ride/campout. Open programs throughout the day include Rifle and Shotgun, Sling Shots, Archery, and Bouldering Wall activities. Register as an individual or together with your Scouting unit. Saturday lunch or dinner is included depending on the activity. 

After registering, we will follow-up with instructions on signing up for specific activities.

Who: Open to Youth and Adult members in Scouts BSA and Venturing

When: Friday-Sunday, August 1-3, 2025 

Where: Camp Lowden (4418 S. Scout Road, Oregon, IL)

Cost: $53 per Youth/Adult early-rate fee; fee increases to $60 on June 30. Registration ends July 24.

Camp Staff Opportunities: Camp Staff opportunities are available for youth and adults ages 14 years old and above. As a volunteer camp staff, gain valuable summer camp experience. Cost to register as a volunteer camp staff is $21 and includes lodging, and prepped meals in the dining hall.
