Klondike is an opportunity for Scouts to test their Scouting skills and knowledge of winter weather.

Scouts BSA are going to test their skills of preparedness against each other and the elements. Are their skills up to the challenge? 

Cub Scouts are also going to test their skills. They are going to ensure they can get sleds to destinations, build snow shelters and make some snow buddies.  

Who: Any registered Cub Scout, Scouts BSA Troop, and Venture Crew. 

When: February 16-17, 2024

            Friday Check-in begins at 5:00pm 

          Scouts BSA Check-in Saturday- 6:45am

          Cub Scouts Check- In Saturday- 8am

Where: YMCA Camp Winnebago (5804 N. Main St. Rockford, IL 61103)

Cost: $16/Youth (before January 26, 2024)

           $27/Youth (on/after January 26, 2024)

          $11/Adult (continuous pricing)

Early Discount
Before 2/3/2024 a discount of $11.00 will apply to all Cub Scout (4-5 Grade) Registrants.
Before 2/3/2024 a discount of $11.00 will apply to all Cub Scout (K-3 Grade) Registrants.
Before 2/3/2024 a discount of $11.00 will apply to all Scouts BSA/ Crew Youth Registrants.
Cancellation Policy

Blackhawk Area Council Refund Policy for all: Events / Training's / Activities / Reservations

All refund requests must be submitted, to the professional staff adviser, in writing (i.e. email request) prior to the event as the policy states below. Extenuating circumstances will be considered.

30 days or more prior to an event - 100% refund

29-15 days prior to event - 70% refund

14 days-8 days prior to the event - 30% refund

7 days or less prior to event - 0% refund

Should you use an incentive / coupon / etc. where there is a reduction in fees or complimentary then the refund / change in registration / reservation is as follows:

30 days or more prior to an event - 100% discount / incentive may be transferred to another registration

29-15 days prior to event - 70% discount / incentive may be transferred to another registration
