Leaders Guide

Who can attend?  - Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venture Crews (youth and adults) their families and friends!

 

Cost? - $29 for event registration  or $39 for event plus camping / per person, HOWEVER! If you register and pay by April 1st each person will receive a $10 discount! (This would then be $19 for event registration  or $29 for event plus camping / per person)  *Multiple camping locations are available.

 Traditional Events for the Grant Pilgrimage

  • Historic Trail Hike
  • History Hunt (with the Galena Generals)
  • Grant’s Home and Washburn House
  • Galena Historical Museum
  • Blacksmith shop
  • Parade down Main Street Galena
  • Bucket Brigade
  • Cub Activities put on by the O.A.

  Notes on Program Area locations:          

  • Registration at the Pilgrimage will be at the Galena Bible Arts and Recreation Center(ARC) for short 11084 US Hwy 20 W Galena Il 61036 
  • Trading Post will be at Turner Hall, 115 Bench St., Galena, IL 61036
  • Cub Activities will be at Grant Park

Cancellation Policy
Blackhawk Area Council Refund Policy for all: Events / Trainings / Activities / Reservations All refund requests must be submitted, to the professional staff adviser, in writing (i.e. email request) prior to the event as the policy states below. Extenuating circumstances will be considered. 30 days or more prior to an event 100% refund 29-15 days prior to event 70% refund 14 days-8 days prior to the event 30% refund 7 days or less prior to event 0% refund
