Sycamore District is excited to once again invite your Cub Scouts to join us this year for our district day camp adventure.
All Camps are held at: McHenry Township Park, 3703 N. Richmond Rd., Johnsburg
Wolf, Bear, Webelos & AOL …………. June 24 thru June 27 from 9:15am – 2:55pm
COST: Registration is $85 per scout BUT get the early bird pricing of on $70 by registering and paying before May 17th, plus one day’s commitment from one ADULT VOLUNTEER per scout. Cost includes scout’s t-shirt, patch, program materials and insurance.
ADULTS: Along with your Scout’s registration, you are required to volunteer at least one day during the camp week. Sycamore Day Camp is 100% staffed by volunteers. Of course, you may volunteer more than one day and are encouraged do so if possible. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Program Staff (run a station throughout the day): First Aid**, Kid Zone, Archery*, BB Guns*, Crafts, Sports, Nature, Scout Skills, etc.
- Den Guide (walk with the group and supervise the scouts)
*Additional training is required to run an Archery or BB Gun range. **Required daily to keep camp open to scouts.
Youth Protection Training must be up to date for all adults at camp. Training can be found at www.my.scouting.org.
Early bird registration for day camp are due by May 17th
The online registration is designed to accept UNIT or INDIVIDUAL SCOUT registrations.
When registering a Scout for Camp, be sure to indicate your Scout’s rank beginning June 1st. This may not match the Scout’s current rank. It is the grade they are entering in the upcoming school year.
All registrations will be reported back to the designated Day Camp Coordinator, Cubmaster or Committee Chair.
Parts A & B of the BSA Official health form MUST be submitted for ALL SCOUTS AND ADULTS at camp. Without the completed health form you will be asked to leave camp.

TIGER 1 Day Camp!
June 25 from 3:30pm – 7:30pm
COST: $20 per Scout if registered by 5/17 or $25 after 5/17. Includes scout’s t-shirt, patch, program materials and insurance.
