The aims of NYLT:

to give youth participants a basic knowledge of various leadership skills while helping them relate these skills to their own units;
to give youth participants the confidence and the knowledge necessary to run their unit's programs;
to provide youth participants an opportunity to share ideas and experiences with Scouts from other units;
and of course, to have FUN.

This is achieved through an outdoor-setting. Skills covered in training include communications, vision and goal setting, team development, problem solving, conflict resolution and ethical decision-making.

Only $250 if registered and paid in full by May 1st!!!

Cancellation Policy

All refund requests must be submitted, to the professional staff advisor, in writing (i.e., email request) prior to the event as the policy states below. You can send your request to: bac.info@scouting.org 30 days or more prior to an event 100% refund 29-15 days prior to event 70% refund 14 days-8 days prior to the event 30% refund 7 days or less prior to event 0% refund Refund requests for extenuating circumstances will be considered for 7 days or less and will be at a 30% refund.
