AirCamp 2018
WHAT IS AIRCAMP 2018? AirCamp is a gigantic outdoor encampment for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Explorers and their leaders. All Scouts from Blackhawk Area Council and the other councils in the surrounding area are invited to attend. The encampment will feature an aviation theme and will showcase Scouting spirit.
WHO: All registered Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, Venturing crews, Explorer posts, and Scouting families may attend. Individuals interested in potentially joining the Boy Scouts of America are also invited to attend.
WHERE: The Chicago Rockford International Airport in Rockford, Illinois will host the AirCamp.
WHEN: September 28 – September 30, 2018; Friday Evening through Sunday Morning.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING PARTICIPATION: Overnight camping is available for all Scouts (see the attached Leaders' Guide for more details). If camping overnight, it is required that you register as a unit (pack, troop, crew, or post).
SATURDAY-ONLY PARTICIPATION: Come join us for a full day of fun and excitement! Any registered Scout and their family is welcome to attend. Come with your Pack, Troop, Crew, or come as a family. Just make sure you are there! Food vendors are available throughout the day.
